Family Probate Help
I began my real estate career in 1990, helping families buy and sell homes on Chicago’s southwest side during a time when interest rates exceeded 12% and homes often stayed on the market for three to six months. As a newcomer to the industry, I embraced every challenge. I traveled far and wide—Rogers Park, Kankakee, Rockford, and everywhere in between—to ensure my clients received the care and attention they deserved. In 2009, I expanded my services to Indiana, earning my license to assist families across all seven counties of Northwest Indiana. By 2021, I took another step forward, becoming licensed in Florida to better serve clients across multiple states.
Over the years, I’ve grown alongside my clients, constantly seeking ways to better meet their needs. In the early 2000s, I opened a mortgage company alongside my real estate office. This allowed me to make the home-buying and selling process smoother and more cost-effective, guiding families from start to finish with care and expertise.
My deep respect and gratitude for the generation that raised us led me to focus on serving seniors and assisting with estate planning. Helping seniors with property tax negotiations and ensuring they receive the exemptions they’re entitled to is a right they deserve. These small acts can make a big difference, especially for those on fixed incomes. My dedication to service extends beyond real estate. Each Thanksgiving, I distribute frozen turkeys in neighborhoods like Englewood, Gage Park, Chicago Lawn, Canaryville, and Brighton Park, along with pumpkin pies for seniors in the southwest suburbs. During the severe snowstorm of February 2021, I even grabbed a shovel to clear snow for seniors in Englewood, Back of the Yards and Brighton Park communities—an effort that was featured on Channel 2 News.
Today, my focus is on helping families navigate life transitions. Losing a loved one is never easy, and inheriting a property can feel overwhelming with so many unfamiliar decisions to make. My mission is to walk alongside families through every step of the process, from inheriting a property to resolving the estate. Unfortunately, I’ve seen too many families fall victim to investors who prey on their grief. These investors often claim that a home in disrepair or filled with belongings can’t sell and offer what seems like a helpful quick-cash deal. However, these offers often come at a steep discount. The reality? Many investors turn around and resell the property, sometimes with minimal effort, for $50,000 to $90,000 more—money that rightfully belongs to the family.
That’s where my team and I come in. We work tirelessly to protect families, ensuring their hard-earned equity stays with them—not in the pockets of opportunistic greedy investors. Our goal is to safeguard these vital assets and provide families with peace of mind, knowing their loved one’s legacy is being handled with the utmost care and integrity.
